Who doesn't want their phone and gadgets to be pretty, right? I do! When it's pretty, both inside and out, it makes me happy! So let me share a few screenshots of my tablet, from the inside! Yes, I'm able to screenshot already and its without root access! Yay! However, they have the drawbacks to it. :( Every time I reboot my tablet, in order to use the screenshot capability, I have enable it back from my computer, which means I have to connect the tablet to my laptop every time after I reboot my tablet, else I won't be able to use the app! :( This will lead to another part of my intentions; which is to change the stock icons of my battery and my wifi on my status bar. And there is no way for me to do it unless I root it. :( Hence, back to the question, should I? This time, its not that difficult to root, unlike my previous Android phone, which uses a command prompt to root it; tedious! There are pros and cons to rooting.

Pros:
- I can change the font, I can even have emoji on my tablet!
- I can change the stock icons, make my tablet very very pretty like those Korean's phone!
(Fun Fact: Do you know Korean people, mostly girls, prefer Android phones because of its capability to customize?)
- If I'm good enough, I can even make my own theme, but since I'm busy, I guess, I shall opt that one out, I'm happy with those available themes.
- I can screenshot without having to go through any tedious connection to my computer before being able to use it, in fact, I have the choice of more than one app to use. Right now, I'm limited to just one app; No Root Screenshot It by Edward Kim but I must say that I'm very grateful for the app!

Cons:
- If something happen during the process of the rooting, I'm screwed! Big Time.
- My warranty is voided that way and am I able to risk it? I don't know. I'm always panicky that way.

Guess the list of Pros is longer than the Cons, huh? But I guess even without rooting, I have quite a pretty awesome tablet! Now that I'm able take snapshots, its easier to share my inspired designs and some are my own ideas, putting all the cute things together to make me! Let the pictures do the talking! xx

Not forgetting my baby's picture and of course a copy of my coming semester's timetable on my home screen so I can easily check it during intervals of classes! xx

Since the downgrade of my tablet, I found a very interesting app, its Hello Kitty Lady Diary! It has a diary, calendar which syncs to Google Calendar as well scheduler! How great is that?? Check out the app here and the snapshots! Amazing, since I'm able to keep track of all the schedules like boyfriend's work schedule, special dates, bestfriend work schedule, exams etc! xx

Aside from this cute app, I found out about Memo Widget which has amazing cute designs. I'm keeping that for any kind of memos or notes for me to take or jot down! Which makes two memo pad on my tablet! HAHAHA If you want any of the application names, do ask me ok? xx

Twitter, yes I have a Twitter account, instead of just the normal blue theme, I found a super cute theme for it. God knows how I can stumble onto these cute stuff and make me very excited! Its not a different app, its still the usual Twitter! Gosh, I love these Korean people. If its not for them, I won't be able to get any of these amazing apps and themes! xx

Yes, my twitter account is @idaSyahida. Do follow me, if you wish to! :) xx
I found a kitty theme, but I can't seem to download it! :( :( Oh well, this is pretty good enough for me! xx

Do you own a Galaxy Note, or even those who text and call from Galaxy Tab??
You're the best! I don't know how you can text on such big devices because I find it extremely draining to text on my tablet, which is of the same size as the Galaxy Tab! However I have a KakaoTalk account on my tablet and its pretty amazing, at least now I know, getting a 5" and above phones is not meant for me Lol! And yes, I love yellow as much as I love pink, but having a normal yellow theme for the KakaoTalk is boring! :/ And thank god for these awesome Korean people, they have such cute themes for the KakaoTalk app! So now, this is how my KakaoTalk looks like!!

Cute right! I love my KakaoTalk so so so much right now! Who wouldn't love Android if they love customizing??? And I change my battery percentage icon on my phone too! It's super cute! Pink wabbit! xx

I love my tablet so very much, though I wished there's a way to change the stock icons without having to root! :( If anyone knows of a way, please do share with me and comment alright! xx

❤ June 27, 2012

Hello again! So if you have read or a follower to my twitter, you must have known about my current updates on my gadgets! I've updated two of my gadgets; my phone and my tablet. Both went well, and I'm proud of it. I used to be someone who's afraid to try new things, changing things which can't be undone, but I guess its because I understand what needs to be when it something went wrong, gave me the courage. xx

My phone was previously running on 2.2.1, its not that I'm unhappy with the current OS, but because I just feel like updating, speaking of itchy hand. Yes I definitely do have a pair of them. As from the update, my phone is currently running on 2.3.6. There isn't much difference from before, well except for the battery icon and probably a few more nicer set of icons.

If you want to know how I update my phone(Galaxy Ace)as Kies can be quite useless, please do feel free to ask me! xx

I love how cute my sms app looks like right now! xx

Of course it's not part of the theme, I tweak the theme. Hehe

My tablet, was initially Android 2.3.4. There wasn't any updates available from the system itself, but I saw that they release the an update but its for US based and its ICS. There are not many difference between the different updates as its just the language. US uses English, so do my region.. So, I gave it a shot. I was scared as hell, ofc I am. But I did it! I was so happy to see my tablet running on ICS, of course I am!

However, I feel that the change in UI is abit tooo much. Yes the UI is very very different. Of course the ICS on tablet is not the same as those on phones. Phones ICS is simpler and much the same as the other Android OS. So I used ICS on my tabby for 2 days, customized and all, but the fonts are very tiny (sadly), after which I decided to downgrade back to 2.3.4. Technically its not possible, but I keep looking for a way. So I updated it. I went through the same process for about 2 times. Why? Because the first time I did it, my tablet hang at the point of reboot. It just can't start. And being me, one who always panicked when something went wrong, I did panicked!! But I kept calm, (so not me) I wipe data again, and reinstall it. This time it worked! I think because the first time when I wipe data and rebooted my tablet, its still on ICS, hence the ICS files are not completely deleted from the system.. So I wipe again and installed Android 2.3.4 package which was downloaded from Lenovo site. And thankfully, this time it worked! My dear tablet had scared the hell out of me. LOL! And now, I'm back to redesigning my tablet! A whole new look, unlike my phone, which I used the old design.

Nuff said, hope the pictures do the talking! xx

And I found a Kitty Diary app, which has a calendar that syncs to my Google Calendar as well! Great! I have one complain for Android, why isn't there any pink email widgets?? I want one please!! And, I want to find a way how to screenshot on my tablet, without rooting!!

25th and 26th has been good to me. My dearest friend, ShiLi managed to secure the tickets to Big Bang concert! 28th September, I CAN'T WAIT!! xx Of course I want September to come, aside from my birthday week and my most favourite month of the year, I have something else to look forward this year, that month! HEHE

In addition, I got the timetable that both me and Fila wanted! YAY to us!
And now, I'm waiting to get my light stick! xx Can't wait!!

Aside from updating my gadgets, Big Bang, timetable and module registration, I did managed to do some online shoppings (window, for now as the item is already oos)! Everytime I want to buy something, they're always OOS. Shucks. I'm jinxed I think LOL! I'm currently looking for a bag which I can use for school! And I found this bag, one of the bags which caught my attention! And this Hello Kitty pouch, is what I want!! There are other designs as well, but I love this one the most! xx

And guess what?? Today, 27th June marks two special events! One of which is Ed Westwick's birthday and another very special day for me and syg, it's our 58th month together! xx

And I finally get to watch Madagascar 3! I wanna watch again!! HEHEHEHE my favourite part of the movie, enjoy!! xx

A new track and MV by Cascada!! xx

Have a great night people!

❤ June 20, 2012

I have had this blog for a while and I'm sure all my readers know how much I LOVE PINK! And aside from pink, I love PINK GADGETS as well. They used to be very difficult to find, because they say gadgets are boys toys. (Maybe that's why some people claim that being in IT course is actually considered as a Male's dominated course, but puhlease! Which generation are you in?! Today, girls do what boys do as well, and that doesn't mean we're very tough like them! I love gadgets as much as I love shopping! And I'm very girlish, definitely xx) And back to boys' toys. Since they're considered as boys' toys, they don't come in pink as often. But I remember seeing the first pink gadget, a handphone from Motorola, then followed by Nokia, you know the one that is meant for music, where the bottom can be twisted and turned about 180 degrees or so, but now when I looked at it again, its actually kinda ugly XD.

But of course, today, more and more gadgets come in pink as well. From laptops, to iPod, MP3 players, cameras, PSP, tablets, thumbdrives, harddisks, mouse. And the list don't just end there, they have accessories which comes in pink as well such cable wires, plugs, earpieces, stylus, portable chargers and the list just goes on and on. xx

Out of the items from the list, I think I have most of them already! And I'm very happy with all of them. So I shall share all my favourite pink gadgets.

1. My pink netbook, Samsung N150.

I am a very proud owner of this netbook, now everything is pink. From outside, to the keyboard and even the inside - the wallpaper, mouse, anything which can be customized. They say netbooks are supposed to be slow and not good enough for programmers or Computer Science students, but I beg to differ. This netbook is as good as a laptop. And apart from that, I use this netbook for all the activities which I do at home, watching movies, English dramas, surf the net, music, all the entertainment that one needs.

2. My Exilim camera

This was a gift from my boyfriend for my 21st birthday. And this is one of the most important things which I always carry around to snap pictures while on the go! Although its not really the pink shade which I love, but its still pink and I love this so very very much! Why? Because its from my dearest baby! Muahs.

3. My iPod touch and Phone

My iPod is not exactly in pink, neither is my phone, but I customize it such that it's pink now. With casing, pink home button and pink earpiece. The best thing is, I can change to any shades of pink of my liking anytime. But I know that doesn't count as a pink gadget HAHA!

4. My Lenovo tablet

This is one of my most recent gadgets which I adore from the first time I saw it! A very proud owner of the tablet. Its very handy especially when reading eBooks and watching videos. Along with this, I matched it with a pink flip case and a pink stylus! xx

5. My pink Seagate Harddisks

Yes I have more than 1 harddisk, one is which I'm currently using (the left one) and the other one (right) is still brand new, in bag (HEHE) Initially the pink  (left) wasn't like this, it was previously much lighter but I sent it back to seagate for repair and I got a change in case! HEHE Loving it so much right now!

6. Mini MP3

This MP3 was given by a friend and which I used for exercising, running and I love it very much for its very small and handy. :)

And that marks the end of my favourite pink gadgets (which I own). As I have mentioned that both my phone and iPod is not pink. Well Apple don't produce a pink iPod touch, if they do, I sure have bought one long time ago. xx As for my phone, yes I do hope to get a pink phone someday.

The two Samsung phones which comes in pink which I love very much but I don't think I can own them anytime soon because I love my phone very much, it's Samsung as well! Also, these two phones are running on Android.

However, if I were to want a Windows phone, which I doubt so, I'll get this Nokia Lumia in Pink!

Apart from this two phones, there's another accessory (thumbdrive) which I want, but sadly I didn't managed to get it in the previous IT Show because its out of stock. Maybe some day, I'll get this thumbdrive! :)

And I'll share this fabulous song from B.O.B which I'm addicted to today.

Have a pinky great day everyone! xx

❤ June 18, 2012

Good day y'all! I woke up to an empty house today. Mummy and brothers went for an appointment. And the whole time since I'm up, this is what I have been doing!

"I whip my hair back and forth, I whip my hair back and forth" No I'm not  whipping my hair, of course not. HAHA

I've been looking for Big Bang light stick version 3 all around the net. Well, one of the blogs still haven't replied me yet, the first blog that I ever emailed for the light stick and I gave up waiting for that reply. Seriously, don't give excuses such as - we have jobs and other responsibilities hence we can only check the email about 2-3 times per week. It has been almost a week, and I think this week you have only check the email once. Other people have blogshops too, and they have other responsibilities as well, like jobs too and they can still manage to handle both together. So if you can't, don't push yourself to do something beyond your control xx

Last night I have recustomize my tablet look! So in today's post, I'll share with you my current phone and tablet looks! xx

First up will be my phone. I have recently customized my phone with brand new icons, rearranged the apps on my home screens and of course new background, something more calmer, to suit my pink kitty case! xx

First screenshot is my 1st screen, where all the apps which I use regularly can be found.

The second screenshot is my home screen, its a picture of me and my boyfriend whom I love so very much, along with the dock. The dock has the same icons.

This screenshot is the same as the first screenshot, but with a different dock, I have 2 docks. Basically this dock has the apps which I check regularly, my Facebook, camera, Line and Whatsapp. This dock can be moved on any screens as well! xx

I'm using Go Launcher Ex which can be found in your Google Play. This is one of the best launcher apps as I can customize alot of things with this launcher. Another recommendation of launcher app is the ADW Launcher. However if you're new to themes and designing your own icons, use Go Launcher Ex. They have a variety range of themes and icons as well as effects which can be used. They're very cool indeed! The icons used are mainly from a theme called the PonieBaby, download yours here: http://bit.ly/M03y06 Apart from the icons provided in the theme, there are a few icons which I made on my own and a few which I downloaded from DeviantArt - the facebook and twitter icons.

Those are not just the only customization which I did on my phone. I customize my lock screen as well. It is still the same design as before, but since I haven't shared it on my blog so this will be the first time here! Without any notifications, this is how my lock screen looks like, a wallpaper which I've created on my own, from a kitty image I found on the web. Love the big kitty on my lock screen, she just makes me smile!

And this is how my lock screen looks like with notifications! Any kind of notifications will be reflected on my lock screen. Just like iPhone right! And no, I'm not trying to make my phone look like iPhone, because I love how I am able to customize my phone to be like anything I want, even better than iPhone, as it requires jailbreaking! The types of notification that can be reflected are - facebook, twitter, Whatsapp, Line, Viber, missed calls, instagram, Path, mail any kind of notifications which your phone detected! Cool right?

As for my lock screen, I'm using an app too! It's called WidgetLocker Lockscreen. Get yours from here: http://bit.ly/KN9Dcy It is one of the coolest and my most favourite lock screen application! I have used others before, in fact I've tried almost all the the different lock screen apps which can be found on Google Play. Why do I find this the coolest lock screen app? Because this is the only lock screen which allows you to add any kind of unlock slider, not just the basic slider like iPhone's, Android's ICS's Gingerbread's, etc. You can even download different sliders from the web. In addition, if you're good and talented or want something which other people don't have, you can even create your own slider!! As from the screenshot above, I actually downloaded it from the web. Just google it and you can find lots of them! I'll share with you one of the unlock slider which I've made, it was the first slider I've ever made, and I'm currently using it for my tablet. I'll share it later! xx

Then what about the notifications on my lock screen?? It's a widget, from an app! The app is called Missed It! And you can simply add the widget anywhere, on the lock screen, but provided you're using WidgetLocker Lockscreen, or even on your home screens! Get yours from here: http://bit.ly/MYA7aB I like my notifications on the lock screen because I can check for any missed notifications right from my lock screen! It makes my life simpler as I don't have to unlock to check for any missed notifications. I'm always in school and with this app, I can always keep track of any notifications! xx

Speaking of customizing the home screen and lock screen, I changed the look of my keyboard as well! I love pink very much! And so, my keyboard has to be in pink as well!

I'm using Better Keyboard, however, the sad thing is that Better Keyboard can no longer be found on the Google Play. :( There are still other keyboard apps which are similar as Better Keyboard. One of the best keyboards which I will recommend is Smart Keyboard. I don't really encourage Go Keyboard even though they have themes that are very very pretty! But the keyboard is laggy for me. However, if you still want to give Go Keyboard a go, why not. Get your Smart Keyboard from here: http://bit.ly/LqjCbK and your Go Keyboard from here: http://bit.ly/M29K6T However, if you still want Better Keyboard, you can download those apks which can be found online, get your Better Keyboard from here: http://bit.ly/KGpxdk After you have installed yoru keyboard, you can simply find the themes online! If you want my pink keyboard, get yours from here: http://bit.ly/M06wS8 and my another favourite pink keyboard theme from here: http://bit.ly/M06DNI And if you must know, I'm using Smart keyboard on my tablet! xx

I do have other customization for my phone such as my sms, its pink too! I'm using Go SMS Pro, another fantastic app! There are alot of SMS apps, and they're all very cute now! But this is what I'm currently using:

And I'm using the pink theme (very pretty right HEHE), lots of themes available for this app, get your SMS app from here: http://bit.ly/N8BTJD and the theme which I'm currently using can be found here: http://bit.ly/M07lKS. Another one of my favourite pink themes is: http://bit.ly/LqltNE super cute and pink! xx And that's all for my phone! Now let's move on to my tablet!

First and foremost, I apologize for the images as they are not as crisp as those of my phone screenshot. My tablet doesn't have the rights to screenshot, sucks! Well, unless I were to root (jailbreak term for Android) my tablet. But I guess I won't be rooting it anytime soon, just not in the mood hahaha! But I have rooted my previous phone, Backflip once. And it was a good experience! xx

First I shall show my lock screen for my tablet. I'm using the WidgetLocker Lockscreen as well.

I love pink and flowers. So I got inspired with a lock screen which I saw online hence I made this myself, but the wallpaper was downloaded from the web. Check the slider at the bottom of the screen. That was the slider which I created as to match the theme of the lockscreen that I have mentioned just now. xx Unlike my phone, I did not use any  Missed It! widgets. There are two different apps which was used. At the top left hand corner, there is a very cute sun and clouds, its the weather app and the one I'm using is called the BeWeather & Widgets Pro which you can get it from here: http://bit.ly/NEzfxH. There are lot of themes for the weather outlook! The previous look was a pink theme, it has pink sun, pink moon, basically everything is pink! They even have hello kitty moon, sun, stars, clouds. They're just adorable! But this themes is one of the cutest and which I find matches with my lock screen theme very very well. The text, consisting of the battery percentage, time and date, which is slightly above the slider is called the Minimalistic Text which can you can get from here: http://bit.ly/NEzybK

If you are observant enough, you may notice a few cute icons on my status bar. Let me zoom into my tablet so you can see it again! I love my battery percentage, the date and the kitty icon!! xx

Now for the look of my screens of my tablet. The first screen is my email screen where I have synced all my emails, personal and school account such that I can check all of the emails without a hassle! It's a Go Widget which can be found here: http://bit.ly/MgxSSH , with a pink email theme, all of which can be found on Google Play itself. xx

Just like my phone, I'm using Go Launcher as well. However, the theme, are not directly from Go Developers or the Google Play. I would like to share two apps which I would really really recommend for those who loves to customize your gadgets!
1. HD Wallpapers-BackgroundsPack: http://bit.ly/Lg7clt
2. HD Wallpapers Live Background: http://bit.ly/MAxoGY

Yes it's a Korean app, with loads of kawaii apps which you can download! This is where I downloaded my themes for my tablet from! And of course that's where I got most of the cute icons on my status bar from! xx Do check them out!

This is my home screen, where most of the apps which I always check and use. And the picture of my baby! xx If you have noticed, I have a few power control at the top of the screen. That's an app as well, it is easily customized - you can add any kind of controls you want, any color, in any order, the number of controls that you want, etc. Its called the Widgetsoid2.x and you can get it from here: http://bit.ly/N8MAMh xx

My tablet has only 3 screens. The final screen contains the different social apps which I regularly check and the on screen calendar which sync to Google Calendar! Very very useful! xx

Remember I mentioned that I'm using Smart Keyboard on my tablet? Here is a picture of it! xx I just changed the theme last night! Previously it was all pink with a few Korean words on the "delete" and "enter" button. But now, I'm happy with this! Simple, pink and white design! xx Where to get these fabulous designs? They can all be found from the 2 Korean apps!

Be sure to have these two apps available on your phone, all you customizing freaks! xx

A song I would like to share to all my readers today; Young Love by Jedward!

Have a great day ahead readers! I love you....
