<body> The new old. <body>

❤ August 31, 2013

There are many things which I may want, but this is what I want in the longest time ever since I own an iPod - a docking station which has an alarm, FM Radio. I have always loved iHome systems, however, some say that they're very expensive especially here in Singapore. (But I still want one) Since I am using the older version of the iPod, (I would wanna change my iPod but my iPod is still very much in a perfect condition which doesn't need to be changed at all, so I will use it till I can't use it anymore and I don't see it happening anytime soon. Therefore, I will still go on with my decision to buy the docking station with the 30 pin connector. Even though I'm an iPhone user, but I don't listen music on my iPhone. My iPhone is just mainly for calling, texting. Basically communicating with people, and maybe once in a while playing games.

I was seriously obsessed with my friend's docking station! Although it doesn't have the alarm and radio function, I am still obsessed! I just love listening to my iPod out loud especially when I'm at home. However, my friend's docking station suits her needs/wants of a docking station. With that, I just need to go ahead and find mine very very soon. The search was sort of put on hold since I started school. Partly, I think I put the thought on hold because people keep telling me its not necessary. I am also trying to convince myself that it's not important.. however, knowing me, once I've my mind on sth, I will want to get it eventually. There are times when I really think I'm spoilt..

iHome. Tell me right now, that this isn't just pretty, and addition to my room.

Tell me again, iHome isn't pretty!

Sigh. iHome, please stop being perfect in my eyes!

Today, most of the docking stations comes with the lightning connector, which means its for my iPhone. Yes, its an advantage since I can charge my iPhone once its connected, but that's not my main purpose of owning the docking station. Therefore, I went ahead and find iPhone/iPod 4 docking station on the net.

The first which I found was this iLuv rotating speaker.

Cute, I must say. Small and very space saving.. however that's the only point of this docking speaker which I can think of.. my search didn't end there. I went ahead and find more docking stations. Preferably pink, but it's really alright even if its not, so long its the 30 pin connector. I need it to be 30 pin. You know, having it in pink is definitely a plus point. There are a number of pink docking stations but they're all portable speakers. I am not interested in portable docking speakers. Keep telling myself of the reason why I want a docking station.

1. So I can charge my iPod while playing my music out loud, by that, I meant with speakers.
2. Alarm
3. FM Radio (yes, I know I can just apps for these two functions, like I said given no other choice, then alright, I'll give it away)
4. NOT portable at all
5. Bonus: if it comes in pink!

With that, my search carries on..... and I found this!

Trust me, iHome is perfect, but comparing to the iLuv, this is much closer to the iHome system. I want this. And I think I will most definitely get this. Whatever it is, I need/want a docking station. Lol! So my hunt for one will continue if I can't get this one.. Share with me what docking station you're using!

Wish me luck and..... have a great day people! xx

One last iHome.....

A pink iHome BoomBox.

Super cute... crazy for the color..... but its portable... :(

Now Playing: Blue - Broken :)
Love the lyrics. Enjoy!

❤ August 20, 2013

I've seen so many videos and posts of people who actually made their "What's inside my bag" video/posts. I'm never the video kind of person. I have a YouTube account but I'm never the kind who loves uploading or even taking videos of myself. However, since I find that "What's inside my bag" posts and videos has always been interesting, I'm gonna make one for myself.

I have quite a number of bags which I use for different occasions. I'm a girl, what can you say, right? However, in this post, I'm gonna show my school bag because for these few months, (my whole academic year) this is the bag which I will be carrying most of the time.

So this is my bag. It's an MK bag which I fell in love with from the start when I saw it. I just have to get it, although its a bit pricy but I can't seem to find any other bags which can replace this. I must say that this is really love at first sight. Nothing can replace this bag no matter how much I told myself I don't need this bag. I love this bag to pieces, especially with the color combination, white and black MK prints all over the bag, and gold chain. White and gold, perfect, just perfect. One reason why I totally love this bag is because it has the two way handle, the long and short strap. There are times when I would love to carry my bag either way, and I don't like having just one way carry. This bag is also roomy for a lot of things, especially since this bag is used for school, I have to carry books this sem. I'm a final year student yet I have books to carry. How sad is that!

Okay, so now, lets go in to What's Inside My Bag part!

Remember when I said I have to carry books? Yes, I have a textbook which I have to carry especially when I 'm having the lesson! Usually I don't bring my textbook around. Let's see.. the last which I actually carry textbooks was in poly probably around year 2? In Uni, most of my textbooks are in eBook form , because I love eBooks especially since everything is digitalized! ^^ However, of course there are some books which I actually bought them for example Mathematics, Programming books because some are really tedious to use eBooks. Actually, the main reason why I buy textbooks in Uni is because they're either Open Book exams, or the module has alot of calculations and formulas for me to highlight and copy/scribble notes in them.

Okay, so this is what in my school bag (most of the days, except two days of the week when I don't need my Chinese textbook)

The top row from Left to Right are:
1st row: Clear holder file, a notebook, Chinese textbook, my so called handy dandy bag but actually its a make up bag
2nd row: pencil case (which I just changed today), Charles and Keith wallet, postal kitty purse (its a girly purse if you know what I mean), Starbucks tumbler
3rd row: hello kitty spectacle case, iPod with my kitty slot in pouch and pink BassBuds earphones, iPhone, kitty polka pink purse which holds my ezlink card (all Singaporean's have this, which needs to be used for boarding the bus, train, going library to borrow books, buying student meals, lol!)

And finally, this is what's inside my handy dandy make up bag. Be warned that this bag, doesn't just carries make up stuff, but just everything is inside. Its more of the bag which I dump most of my lose things.

1st row: a packet of tissue (most of the times, I carry more than 1 packet. You'll never know when you need them), Revlon ColorStay compact powder, a rubber band and a hair clip, portable charger and my phone cable
2nd row: a comb, Forever 21's red lip gloss, keys with the Minnie mouse and soft turtle keychain.

Something about the Minnie Mouse keychain, its eyes are actually open, unless it touches any magnetic materials, which then it will closes its eyes. This keychain comes in pair, a Mickey and Minnie, initial form having both of them kissing one another, at the nose. My bestfriend, Tas has the Mickey and mine's the Minnie. How cute is that Minnie! ^^

So what's inside your bag? Do share and comment :)

❤ August 6, 2013

So its a few more days to Hari Raya, excited but not excited. I'm special that way where I'm always seemed confused. Like whether I'm sad and not sad, both happy and unhappy, lol! I'm not excited because its the one time when I'm busy helping my parents to prepare the house, (so it will be perfectly ready for the new year), baking, ironing curtains and clothes. Excited because Hari Raya only come once a year! :D

I've always love baking, no matter what festive season it is. Be it Valentines, Hari Raya, Christmas, anytime of the year, if I feel like baking, I will. Blog updates is always one of the slowest amongst all my social updates going around this internet world. First place that I would update will always be my Twitter, so follow me! After Twitter, my next common space which I always update is my Instagram, lastly is my Facebook. Usually Facebook posts are sort of linked from my Instagram, but feel free to add/follow! :D

So here's what I baked for this year's Hari Raya. I only baked one type of cookie because my parents bought a few other types for this festive season. I do love baking, but baking too many different types of cookies can be a chore. Besides, I baked them on my own. I spent a total of 12 hours because halfway I ran out of ingredients, so I waited for mummy and brother to come home with them. After spending 12 hours start in the kitchen, my back is aching like hell, lol. I'm weak that way :P Aside from that, I kinda burnt my index finger due to accidentally brushing my finger against the oven lid because I opened it, wanting to remove the cookie tray from the oven and talking to my brother, giving him some instructions and BAM! For the first time I actually used the term "sia" in "Pain siaaaaa" and I kept sucking that finger after removing the cookie tray from the oven, just so the cookies don't burnt inside.

My finger is still in the state of recovering. It's painful, still painful.. and I think I kinda accidentally hit it while sleeping last night coz its still in pain. :(

My special cookies. Its definitely something which you can't get anywhere else. No one's would taste as good as mine (LOL) but seriously, this is my very own improved recipe. ^^

They will just melt in your mouth :D and what's special? Its for those chocolate lovers!

Another great news which I received this week was..... my minion is here!
Yes, I'm a big fan of minions and Despicable Me.. and I'm pretty much ecstatic when I got the news that the minions have arrived her house, because she's the one who bought it for me! Hehe

That's my bestfriend with my minion hehehehe can't wait to get my minion :D :D

Speaking of minions, I was designing my timetable for upcoming semester yesterday but I kinda have a designer's block where I can't seem to come up with a single idea on how to design it. However, I managed to pull this up after suggestions from a few people whom I'm close to, because they know that I love minions, apart from the Googly Gooeys character, which I have used in my previous semester.

As much as I love minions, I find this pretty much boring and I can't seem to point exactly what's the problem. However, my only guess is the minions itself. Yes, I've tried a blue and yellow theme. That made the entire timetable even more boring that it is right now. I love colors, I love pink and I love bright things, hence, the large amount of usage of colors in my timetable. Feel free to give suggestions on my designs, I'm open to suggestions! :)

Yes, this sem, I have a 3 day school week! Yay but I must always remember that this is my final sem for my FYP. Bleah. So despite the 3 day week, I bet my week is still gonna be as busy as hell. :(

I'm left with one more module then I can graduate! However, taking just one module for the semester is just too little, so I decided to add another extra, not necessary module which is Chinese Language because I've always wanted to learn Chinese, either in school or enroll to a class out of school. I've learned Chinese on my own and I think Chinese is a very difficult language to learn, its not like I don't know that from last time. The reason why I haven't been leaning it is because I know its difficult to learn, the strokes, pronunciation, everything. I've self learned Korean before and its much simpler than Chinese. So much easier to write and speak as well. I've learned Korean and Japanese before and they are not as difficult as Chinese, so I'm quite worried. Like whether I should just carry on with my initial intentions of taking it in school, or just study them from classes out of school. I study Malay in secondary school and yes I have to say that my Malay is far from the status of "Good". However, in today's situation, we don't use Malay as often, hence that explains why my command of the language is decreasing. I don't usually use Malay when conversing, what more when writing. In Singapore, some work requirements actually included whether the applicants can converse in Chinese and English. That's why I want to learn that language. I know that being able to just speak is good enough. That's what I'm aiming for, however, school doesn't offer Conversational Chinese, they only offer Basic Chinese Language Level 1. Since I'm still schooling, I thought, why not use this opportunity and learn the language, right?

I've been on BSB fangirlism for the past few days. I still am actually. I've been watching their tour concerts on YouTube and then re-adding all their albums, including their newest album into my iTunes and then my iPod.

With that, I'd like to share my favorite track. :) And have a great night ahead. To those who are fasting, a few more days to Hari Raya!
