I will be taking a break from all these theming, be it for Android and Apple devices. However, before I do so, I have learned something last night, which is related to changing the music knobs for your iPods. I'm not very sure if this will work on the music app on iPhones as I don't own one, but since I guess it should work the same. I've tested all of them on my iPod, its running on iOS 5.1.1.

I learned this by accident, to be honest. I downloaded a Hello Kitty nerdy volume theme by Jailbreakgoodies but regardless the number of times I were to respring, the interface and volume knob doesn't change. So I decided to go do some research and made a few changes to the files and reinsert it into the iPod (however, still credits to her coz without her, I won't have this awesome cute kitty on my iPod) after which I was very very happy to see the kitty nerd appearing as my volume knob! :D So this is how my  music app on my iPod looks like right now!


I realised that there are alot of themes available on cydia, and there are alot of themers which makes pink themes, super girlish with Hello Kitty, Rilakuma and stuff. However, I have never encounter a single KPop theme. And since this is the only one that I know how to make, apart from the Notification Center theme, so I decided to make a this. So if you're a VIP (Big Bang's fan) and you own a jailbroken iPod/iDevice, you're in for a treat! xx

I've made 7 themes in total, one for each member, with 2 themes for TOP, which you'll know why I have two of his, not because he's my most favorite member of the group (well, he is, but I just can't decide on which one I love the most, I love all of them hehe) and one, a crown; a symbol which signifies us, VIP. :)

Hi again! I just created another Go Launcher theme, by request of my friend, Fila. She loves orange, very IT-savvy person! So initially it was quite difficult to actually come up with a theme, brainstormed but I guess, none of them are very suitable for her, as I want something which speaks her. Either its too cute, or too simple! But I went ahead and asked her what exactly she wants, and finally she decided she want something Metro as most of the Metro themes available in the Play Store is actually expensive.

With that, I present you my Orange Metro theme! And thanks Fila for the screenshots, ily! xx

There are a few things which I hoped to learn in the future, especially these kind of theming. And of course I know Korean people are one of the best when it comes to themes making! :) Envy~

And I'm having some problems with trying to theme my iPod touch.

I want these three awesome things, but could it be because they can only be applied on iPhones and not iPod touch? But can't be! :( :(


I want both the sliders found on the above pic (left), but no matter how many times I repsring, the two icons just won't appear! :( And I want, really really want my notification center to be like the one found on the right, but again everytime I were to respring, my notification center, instead of looking like this, the normal theme for my notification center appears. :( And by far, the only one which actually really change the NC theme is the pink one which I'm currently using! Boo! :( Don't tell me that only iPhones can use them, but really are there such a thing, I don't think so, right? Sigh.

So for the past 2 days, I was busy trying to find themes and all the customization elements which can be done to my iDevice. I finally got the courage to jailbreak my own iPod touch. The last that it was jailbroken was about 2 years ago, and it wasn't really my own effort. Syg's cousin, Hanisah helped me with the jailbreaking process. At the same time, I was actually quite scared that sth might happened to my iPod, well you know the usual things that always worries you when its the first time, trying to do something that is against the norm. In fact, until the last 2 days, I was still quite afraid to do it. I know some of my friends ever mentioned that, if I am able to root my Android phone, jailbreaking is actually one of the easiest things besides, if anything goes wrong, I can always restore it back. But still, nothing changed the way how I looked at jailbreaking. However, I suspected that its because of the fact that if anything did go wrong, then I have to resync all my songs. Yes, my iPod is very very important to me, and syncing all my over 800+/900 songs can be a chore, draining one definitely!

So put aside all the worries, I just went with my instinct. To jailbreak my iPod touch. Usually people jailbreak for the free apps which they don't want to buy. But that's not the case for me, because to me, the main purpose of jailbreaking is not for the free apps, but to beautify my iPod! :D I did came across a number of sites with girls who love to beautify their iDevices, most of them are pink and kitty! They are definitely the best, without them, I won't be able to have these awesome things on my iPod right now! xx

Enough said, I shall post screenshots of my iPod! There are a few which I haven't made changes to, such as the slider of the lock screen, slider for my music player, the assistive touch button, changing the wifi signal icons, changing the design of my notification banners. However, without all these, without changing the icons either, I'm very happy with my iPod, really. Though if someone could tell me how to make these things work, please do share it with me. A few of the notification center themes wouldn't work for me, and I don't know why. How sad! :(

Remember how my phone messaging app looks like? (Recall: its the pink and brown leopard prints) Seems like I'm into this pink and leopard prints mood! HEHE my iPod is also filled with leopard print designs! ;)

So basically after this, I won't be changing much things from what I have right now, probably change the icon of my battery at the top right hand corner, change the weather icon set, and maybe try to find a way how to change the slider. I think I have themed almost everything which I know how to! HAHAHA and after this I'm going to think of some ideas for a theme for Android!

Someday, I will want to learn how to make themes for iDevices. Before that, I need to find a way to solve the problems relating to the themes I'm having now! HEHEHE I'll share with you all the tweaks which I downloaded once I'm much more familiar with all of them, because right now, I'm still learning about them haha (always learn something new daily xoxo)
